DIY Central

Ok, so I've already made a boatload of stuff for the wedding - and "santa" (aka FI) DID bring me the wonderful amazing camera I had been pining so long for (the Canon PowerShot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) So I took some pics this weekend & here they are!!!!   Also, I will be posting ideas that I find from web searches & other fellow knotties (so if I forgot to credit you, virtually smack me! jk jk Just let me know & I'll put it in there!)

My "I DO" Letters!!

These are pictures of different things I've made (or am going to make):
1. My first attempt at making a program (these need work!!)
2. The supplies for our Sand Ceremony.  I'm going to etch our names & date on the large vase.
3. Our bird seed packets
4. A close up of a bird seed packet
5. The flowers for the BMs - I actually got more yellow ones to go in there last night... I'll post the final product when I finish them.
6. The bouts - I added floral tape to the end of them, I'll post them when I get a new picture.
7-9. The picture frames I painted & decorated for the guest book table.
10. Our last name wooden letters to go on our table.  Too Cute!!

I went DIY crazy this weekend (1/10-1/11/09)

In these photos you can see my laptop & printer hard at work printing my 150 invitations & reception cards!

The "basket" looking things are our balloon weights.  I just have to figure out what I want to put in them to make them heavy.  Yes, I'm using balloons.  Get over it.

Then, my asle runner - step by step.  Wheeeee!

Lastly, our photo mat & frame (which we're using i lieu of a guest book so it doesnt get packed away in a box never to be seen again.)  I love pictures & frames all over the house anyways so this works!!
